Santander in videos: what it's like to work at the bank
Last update: 02/10/2024
Grupo Santander has over 209,000 employees across the planet. We’re a global team that comprises people of different races, ages, cultures, interests and studies.
One of our key aims is to create an inclusive working environment where everyone feels safe and free to express their identity, ideas and opinions.
We’ve made several videos to show how all our employees work together on our purpose to help people and businesses prosper.

More than a bank – a career full of opportunities
The Group offers its employees a wide range of opportunities and support in and outside of the workplace. Here are some of their stories.
We’re driven by what drives you
The Santander Group City is a dynamic and constantly evolving work environment, which adapts to changes and new trends to continue being the best place to work, both to motivate current teams and to attract the best external talent. In this video, different professionals tell us in first person what "moves" them in their day to day and the advantages of working at the CGS.
We asked our employees to share homemade videos of special moments during their day. And we put them together to make ‘Santander in a day’, a documentary that captures the essence of our diverse, talented workforce across the globe.
STEM profiles at Santander
Gender diversity in the work teams of any company is one of the most valuable assets for society. But on many occasions, we are faced with historical clichés about gender differentiation in the world of technology. To help break these down, Banco Santander has created the Women in Tech (WiT) initiative.
When talent meets diversity and inclusion
In 2020 the Group launched ‘Be Tech! with Santander’, an ambitious plan to recruit people with a background in technology. It’s enabling us to hire the most innovative talent with degrees in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). The plan’s sole focus is to attract talented people, who come in many different forms and always add value.
At Grupo Santander we believe each person is unique. That’s why we promote a workplace where everyone feels free and comfortable to express their identity and sexual orientation without judgement. Santander employees tell us their own stories.
