At Grupo Santander, we strive to give our customers the best service. Our financial proposition helps them in their day-to-day, and now we’ve teamed up with Mapfre, Correos, Prosegur and other partners to offer new products and services.
We want to be at every customer’s side, regardless of where they are. We complement our branch network with a digital proposition that has over 5.2 million customers and more than 1,000 online agents with Santander Personal.
However, digital channels are not the only alternative to traditional customer service. We’ve reached agreements with partners to come up with new ways to take our banking services where our customers need them.
A growing family
Our agreement with Correos, Spain’s leading postal service, has enabled us to offer financial services at over 4,500 post offices since March 2021, where our customers can deposit and withdraw cash and have money delivered to any address in Spain. The service is free for customers in towns where we don’t have a branch. Thanks to this agreement, we’re bringing basic financial services to over 1,500 towns.
We also signed an agreement with Mapfre, a global insurer with operations on five continents, under which we offer mortgages, consumer credit and credit cards through its 3,000 offices, 2,240 sales staff and 8,000 insurance brokers. Each Mapfre point of sale is assigned a lead Santander branch, with support from a regional sales director.
We teamed up with Prosegur Cash to launch Cash Today, the first digital cash management service for companies. It acts as a smart safe with heightened security that pays cash directly into bank accounts and saves companies time, benefitting supermarkets, logistics firms, restaurants, distributors, service stations, pharmacies, tobacco shops and others.
These alliances are another step towards making financial inclusion the norm in all our communities and helping people prosper as a responsible bank.
