‘Euros from your salary’: twelve social projects to help those most in need.

‘Euros from your salary’ is a Santander initiative to promote projects that improve society. For its twelfth year, the twelve winning projects will each receive more than EUR 40,000. 

Donations from everyone are the key to this initiative’s success. The idea is for Santander staff to donate part of their salary to the Euros from your salary social projects. Santander also donates to the programme, matching each euro contributed by employees. The total is distributed among the twelve social projects with the most votes from employees in Spain. We are very proud to have raised a total of EUR 505,400 in 2019, which will help some 35,000 people. Each social initiative chosen this year will receive EUR 42,117.

The Euros from your salary closing ceremony will take place on 3 November to present awards to the winning NGOs. It will be hosted by Group Executive Chairman Ana Botín and Her Majesty Queen Letizia. It starts at 12.00 CET and can be livestreamed on this page.
