At Santander, we want to be a more accessible and inclusive bank that adapts to our stakeholders’ needs. That’s why we rely on apps that assist customers with disabilities, like “Háblalo”.
As a responsible bank, we’re constantly working on our pledge to be more inclusive and give all our customers a great experience. At Santander Argentina, we’re using innovative software like “Háblalo”, which aids communication with persons with disabilities.
Together with Asteroid Technologies, we’ve laid down a significant marker in the banking industry’s march towards a more inclusive world. We’re the first bank to use the tool in South America.
“Háblalo” creates an accessible ecosystem that gives the best service to customers with disabilities. It allows them to articulate their needs and preferences at branches through texts, pre-written phrases, images and drawings. As we run the pilot project at seven Buenos Aires branches, we hope to roll it out to our entire network by the end of 2021.
According to Silvia Tenazinha, head of Commercial Banking at Santander Argentina, “Emerging technologies are vital to inclusion, and we want all our customers to experience excellent service. Inclusion opens doors to more productive, diverse and considerate thinking”.
With an unmistakably social outlook on inclusion, Asteroid Technologies CEO Mateo Salvatto highlights the importance of organizations like Santander that strive for a more equal world: “While we’ve improved the quality of life of over 120,000 people across the world, we’d like to reach 120 million in the coming years, and teaming up with Santander is a giant leap. I hope to see more organizations prioritize inclusion like Santander is doing through this agreement with our company”.
