Social inclusion is key to achieving progress and equality. To reaffirm our commitment, LaLiga Genuine Santander created the Santander Integra Tournament.

The Santander Integra Tournament, organised by LaLiga Genuine Santander through Fundación LaLiga, is an inclusive and socially responsible competition that highlights the commitment shown by Spanish professional football to those with intellectual disabilities. In order to raise awareness among our employees and their families on this matter, and to promote the values of teamwork and the spirit of achievement, in November 2019 we held the first edition of this competition.

The tournament featured four teams from the region of Madrid, Spain that take part in LaLiga Genuine Santander: Fundación Club Atlético de Madrid, Fundación Rayo Vallecano, CD Leganés and Getafe CF. When the tournament was over, all the players of LaLiga Genuine Santander were awarded the competition trophy, and the Fair Play prize was given to the Fundación Club Atlético de Madrid.

All those attending this celebratory event cheered the teams on and experienced first-hand the excitement of the competition. The youngest participants also took part in fun activities such as face painting and human foosball, and were able to enjoy fundraiser foods such as popcorn, pizza and sandwiches, the proceeds of which were given to the organiser of the LaLiga Genuine Santander, Fundación LaLiga.

As sponsors of LaLiga Santander, LaLiga Smartbank and of LaLiga Genuine for four seasons and of other football competitions in Latin America (CONMEBOL Libertadores) and Europe (UEFA Champions League), we are proud to promote progress through sport.
