It’s the third time that Santander Bank Polska has obtained the “Best of the Best” award for its annual report in the category of banks and financial institutions. The bank was also recognised for the best corporate governance statement. Annual reports are evaluated in the competition in terms of their value for shareholders and investors.

Warsaw 11 October 2024.
Santander Bank Polska has been among the winners of the Best Annual Report competition for several years now. This reflects our operating model, which is based on the highest reporting standards. This year, we obtained the prestigious “Best of the Best” award for the third time. We are delighted that we have a permanent place among the best and that our financial reporting, like many other areas at the bank, is noted as a model to follow by other market players,” says Wojtek Skalski, Management Board Member in charge of the Financial Accounting and Control Division.

“The Best Annual Report” competition is organised by the Institute of Accounting and Taxes. Its jury evaluates six elements of reports, including the corporate governance statement, a document for which the bank was also awarded.

Corporate governance is an essential part of the bank’s strategy and our ESG activities. I’m very happy that this has been recognised by the market again. This award is a testament to our role as a trend-setter in corporate governance,” says Anna Kapica, Head of the Corporate Governance Department.
