Santander wins awards across 21 categories at Euromoney’s 2024 Awards for Excellence with three regional accolades among them: ‘Latin America’s Best Bank for Wealth Management’, ‘Latin America’s Best Bank for Financing’ and ‘Western Europe’s Best Bank for Corporate Responsibility’.

The firm has been named Best International Bank in Brazil, Portugal and UK and Best Bank in Uruguay.

The bank’s best-in-class solutions for SMEs have been recognised in countries such as Chile, Poland and Spain, among other capabilities.

Santander received 21 awards at Euromoney's 2024 Awards for Excellence, including three regional categories: ‘Latin America’s Best Bank for Wealth Management’, ‘Latin America’s Best Bank for Financing’ and ‘Western Europe’s Best Bank for Corporate Responsibility’.

This is the second year running that Santander has been named ‘Latin America's Best Bank for Wealth Management’, recognising the strength of Santander’s global network and how it benefits Santander’s wealth management clients. This accolade demonstrates Santander Private Banking proven track record of best-in-class service to UNHW and HNW clients across the world, combining excellence in advice, products, technology and innovation.

Meanwhile, Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (Santander CIB) has also been recognised as ‘Latin America’s Best Bank for Financing’ and ‘Spain’s Best Investment Bank’. The strong presence of Santander CIB in the Americas and Europe, make the firm a unique platform for multinational clients, with the goal of becoming a world class corporate and investment bank.

Santander’s commitment to delivering on its purpose, to help people and businesses prosper, by supporting the transition to a low-carbon economy, promoting inclusive growth and strengthening governance and culture across the organization, by doing things ‘the Santander Way’ has also been recognised by Euromoney. The magazine named Santander the ‘Best Bank for Corporate Responsibility’ in Western Europe, Portugal, Mexico and Uruguay; ‘Best Bank for Diversity and Inclusion’ in the UK and Spain; and ‘Best Bank for ESG’ in Argentina, Brazil and Chile.

Euromoney also noted Santander’s efforts to support entrepreneurship, naming it ‘Best Bank for SMEs’ in Spain, Chile and Poland. Santander has supported education, employability, and entrepreneurship for over 27 years, investing over 2.3 billion euros and helping over 1.5 million people and businesses over that period. Santander plans to continue these initiatives by investing 400 million euros between 2023 and 2026.
