Santander Course | USA Summer Experience – UPenn offers a language immersion experience in the USA for young people aged 18 to 30 from 11 countries.
This includes course costs, flights, accommodation, health insurance, a certificate of attendance, activities and an invitation letter from the University of Pennsylvania for the USA visa application process.
Applications can be submitted until 13 March 2024 at Santander Open Academy.

For the first time, Banco Santander, in conjunction with the University of Pennsylvania, has launched Santander Course | USA Summer Experience – UPenn, which offers young people 90 places to study English in person, allowing them to experience linguistic and cultural immersion on the university’s own campus, in the vibrant city of Philadelphia in the USA.
The course will help recipients improve their English language training and their job prospects and is aimed at young people aged between 18 and 30 years old from 11 countries (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Germany, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom, the United States and Uruguay). Applicants must have a level of English at least equivalent to B1 in order to apply for one of the places.
Santander Course | USA Summer Experience – UPenn includes the cost of flights, University accommodation, medical insurance, a certificate of attendance, social and cultural activities and a letter of invitation from the University of Pennsylvania for the USA visa application process.
The course lasts three weeks, from 8-28 July. The content is designed to help young people learn and practise English while reinforcing and practising other skills, such as leadership, teamwork, persuasive communication, social media and positive psychology.
Applications will be open until 13 March in Santander Open Academy. This is a free course. No university degree is necessary, and being a Santander customer is not a requirement.
