The first edition of the Iberian Equity Awards recognized Santander’s Investor Relations team as the best one in its category in Spain. 

The Iberian Equity Awards, granted by the Spanish Investor Relations Association (AERI, in Spanish), have named the bank as the best company in Spain in the large-cap category. Gema Navamuel, from Santander's Investor Relations team, was nominated as one of the best Investor Relations professionals in Spain in such category.

AERI held its first Iberian Equity Awards, which distinguish the best professionals, teams and companies in the field of investor relations. These awards are the result of a global survey of more than 1,300 analysts and investors conducted by the prestigious publication Institutional Investor.

Santander's Investor Relations team received the following awards in the Large Cap category:

• Best Investor Relations Team.
• Best Global Corporate Winner.
• Gema Navamuel, from the Investor Relations team, nominated as Best Investor Relations Professional.

AERI's objective is to promote and improve the Investor Relations of Spanish listed companies and the best international practices in such area within corporations.
