Following the recent aggression against Ukraine, we have been working to support the response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis, as well as acting to ensure Santander complies with the imposed sanctions against Russia.
To support our Ukrainian customers in Poland and other European markets, we have now removed fees on all permitted transfers to Ukraine.
Furthermore, to assist in the response to the humanitarian crisis, Santander is making an initial donation of €1 million to the Red Cross and UNHCR, the UN refugee agency. In the coming days we will offer customers and employees in Europe the ability to make their own donations and Santander will match all donations from employees.
In addition to the above measures, among other initiatives, to support our Ukrainian customers living in Poland, Santander Bank Polska has put in place other measures such as suspended account and card fees, charge-free use of ATMs and ongoing access to cash in branches and via ATMs.
We stand with the people of Ukraine and remain ready to do whatever we can to support the humanitarian response.
For foreign transfers: SWIFT Code: WBKPPLPP
Donations in humanitarian aid to Ukraine can be sent from the UK through the British Red Cross and the UNHCR.
