Inspired by 10 years running traditional food businesses where witnessed the waste generated by the private sector, in 2009, co-founded and has led TriCiclos, one of the more recognized Latin American companies in circular economy and recycling. Nominated by the Chilean presidency and the United Nations as the High Level Climate Champion for the 25th Conference of the Parties (COP25) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) to mobilize climate action in non-state actors around the world, as well as advise the presidency of COP25.

Carlota Pi Amorós (Barcelona, 1976) is a Spanish engineer and businesswoman. Together with Oriol Vila and Ferran Nogué created Holaluz with the conviction that companies can be tools to change the world. Holaluz leads the transformation of the Spanish energy sector with a commitment to the new model of distributed generation.The company expects to reach one million customers and 50,000 photovoltaic installations by the end of 2023.

Thad Simons is Founder and Managing Director, The Yield Lab, a network of funds across the world investing in agrifood technology companies that brings together new innovative technologies focused on sustainably improving farmer incomes, productivity, enhancing knowledge, eroding boundaries, and merging historically independent ecosystems into a more cohesive agricultural and food system. Thad is a Business leader who values working across industries, markets, and cultures to collaboratively create and deliver a global vision for the future of nutrition and food, with a strong focus on industry innovation through the application of technology to develop new products and expand capacity in emerging regions.

Kaya Axelsson is the jointly appointed Net Zero Policy Engagement Fellow at the University of Oxford, working with the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment and the Environmental Change Institute to support the practical application of net zero research insights. Kaya leads a team of researchers to aggregate and clearly communicate resources for defining and achieving net zero on a new digital platform for engaging businesses and policy makers. Kaya also hosts regular engagement events with the business and policy community.

George Bridges is Senior Adviser to Ana Botín, Group Executive Chairman of Banco Santander. He was Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Exiting the European Union (DExEU) until he resigned in June 2017, having been a Minister in the Cabinet Office since May 2015. Before he joined the Government, George was an adviser to Santander UK where he helped in the development of the Santander Way, setting out the bank’s purpose, its aim and how it aspires to be Simple, Personal and Fair in all it does.
