280 employees are chosen through a peer-to-peer nomination process covering all of Santander’s markets every 18 months to participate in the Young Leaders Programme – giving them opportunities to work with colleagues across the world and contribute to the strategy and transformation of the Bank.

This initiative that looks to transform leadership by promoting a new learning culture. The Elevate ecosystem drives and organises Santander’s global executive learning offer, building bridges and breaking down silos between geographies, businesses and people.
Its programmes are structured and aligned with the vision and strategy of Santander, in a space designed from the needs that have been identified through continuous listening. The initiative includes 2,200 Santander executives in 26 countries and 5 learning spaces.
With a presence in more than 40 countries, the exchange of best practices between our teams is a big part of Santander’s success.
