If the positions you would like to apply for share the same name, you’ll only need to complete the application form once. When you speak to one of our recruitment team just let them know of the other vacancies, you’re interested in. If the positions have different job titles, please check with the recruitment team and we’ll let you know whether you need to complete a separate application form.
Once a vacancy has been removed from our website it means we are no longer accepting application forms for that vacancy. Please feel free to join our talent community so you can be the first to hear about roles that match your skills.
Our roles may have immediate or imminent start dates. Proposed start dates will usually be discussed during your face-to-face interview or at your assessment centre, however these might change due to individuals notice periods. Start dates will be confirmed once a role has been offered and the successful individual has completed our Fraud, Credit and Referencing checks
We strive to make sure all our colleagues feel they belong and are supported to succeed. Our customers come from a wide range of backgrounds, and so do our people, so we welcome applications from across society.
You can find out more about how we’re embedding an inclusive culture that encourages our people to bring their full and authentic selves to work on our Inclusion and Belonging page here.
If you are looking at applying for a role at Santander UK, you will need to be 16 years old or ‘minimum school leaving age’. If you are aged between 16 and 18, there are restrictions on what hours we can offer you and for certain roles.
Due to the current regulations within the Working time Directive and Local Education Authority rules we are unable to accept applications from candidates who have not reached the minimum school leaving age. This is due to the restrictions on the duties you are allowed to perform and what level of supervision is required.
The minimum school leaving age is defined as: You must have left school and have reached the age of 16 by the start of the new school year.
Never. We encourage applications from all candidates who meet our criteria and have a variety of opportunities ranging from work experience, school leaver initiatives, entry-level and graduate positions through to experienced hires. To find out more detail about the role that's right for you, please visit us at Where do you want to make an impact.
If there’s anything we can do in the recruitment process to help you achieve your best, get in touch. Whether it’s a copy of our application form in another format or additional assistance, we’re available through telephone, email or face to face. You can contact us at resourcing@santander.co.uk or call 0870 414 9080.
You won’t need a Santander UK bank account to apply to work here. If you are successful in your application, we’ll help you set up an account, into which you’ll be paid your salary.
Unfortunately not, telephone interviews are arranged by our interview scheduling team. If you are invited to a telephone interview, they will get in touch with you to set up a time that works for you.
We appreciate that life can throw up last minute changes and that you might need to reschedule but the more notice you can give us the better. If you know that you will be unable to join the call at the scheduled time, please contact a member of the recruitment team to reschedule.
Not necessarily. If you pass your telephone interview, or in some cases the initial pre-screening process, we’ll let you know the next steps.
If you are experiencing any technical problems and you need to speak to a member of our team, please contact 0870 414 9080, resourcing@santander.co.uk
